Olive Grove House is one house, rented whole — never shared. Light fills two quiet bedrooms and an open-plan living room and kitchen that spill onto the pergola terrace, while a hundred and twenty olive trees keep the world at a distance. Set at garden level, the main bedroom opens directly onto the olive trees. Clean, uncluttered, and full of light, it asks nothing of you except to slow down. Mornings begin with sun filtering through silver-green leaves; evenings end on the terrace as the grove turns gold.

The heart of the house — an open-plan living room and a full kitchen stocked with local essentials. From the long outdoor table under the pergola you look over the olive grove toward the blue line of Mirabello Bay. Made for slow breakfasts, long dinners, and evenings with the doors open.

Is the whole house private, or are there other guests?
Entirely private. Olive Grove House is one house rented whole — 2 bedrooms for up to 6 guests, with the pool, terraces and olive grove to yourselves. There is no reception and no shared walls.
How far is the villa from the sea and from Agios Nikolaos?
About 10 minutes by car. Mardati sits in the hills directly above Agios Nikolaos: the town, its harbour restaurants and the beaches of Mirabello Bay (Ammoudi, Kitroplatia, Voulisma at Istron) are all a short drive away.
Which airport do we fly to, and how long is the drive?
Heraklion International Airport (HER) is the nearest — roughly 65 km and about an hour by car on the national road. Sitia (JSH) is the small regional alternative, around 75 minutes away. A hire car is the easiest way to enjoy the area.
Is there parking at the house?
Yes — free private parking on the property, right by the house among the olive trees.
Does the house have a pool, air conditioning and Wi-Fi?
Yes to all three. The private pool sits on the main terrace facing the mountains, every room has air conditioning and heating, and fast Wi-Fi covers the whole house and the terraces.
What is the kitchen like — can we cook?
The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, with an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and everything you need for long breakfasts and dinners on the terrace. Local essentials, including our own olive oil, are waiting when you arrive.
